2. General principles

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our services. Processing is based on the legal grounds set out in Art. 6 GDPR (consent, contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation). Personal data are erased or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage ceases to apply, unless statutory retention periods apply.

3. Server log files

Each time our website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects data transmitted by your browser, including:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • IP address (anonymised after 7 days)
  • Date and time of access
  • Pages accessed and data volume transferred

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). Log files are deleted after a maximum of 14 days.

4. Cookies

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Subscription uses a double opt-in process. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every issue. Your email address will be deleted promptly upon unsubscription.

6. Contact

If you contact us by email or via a contact form, your details including contact information are stored to process your request and for follow-up questions. Data are not shared without your consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Embedded third-party content

Some pages may embed videos (e.g. YouTube) or other external content. Loading such content transmits data to the respective provider. We load external content only after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The respective provider is responsible for data protection in relation to embedded third-party content.
